film and television actor who tied yesterday at a hospital in, of course, dallas. >> reporter: that's right. larry hagman had a long and storied career in hollywood. dating back to the' 50s but he's best remembered for two roles. first as major anthony nelson where he standard opposite barbara eden in "i dream of jeannie" and his role in "there's a" that featured him as the iconic villain. but the who shot j.r. episode was one of the most watched tv episodes. the show got a second life on tnt debuting in june of this year. hagman was filming episodes for the second season shortly before his death. the second season is set to air in january. and while there are reports that he shot at least six episodes, no word on how writers plan to address the sad news of his passing. as dallas co-stars have been reacting via twitter and facebook with lynn gentleman grey, he was a wonderful dear bigger than life friend and barbara eden remembering his big laughs and smile. the current cast released this statement saying larry hagman was a giant, a larger-than-life personality whose iconic performa

now a chemical plant on fire in garland, texas. this is just a few miles northeast of dallas. new pictures coming into fox news. firefighters trying to and thosg some 50 feet into the air. it's the nexeo solutions plant. it's related to the production of valvoline oil and other products. a spokesperson says all 41 workers at the plant are safe, but officials are evacuated people who live within a quarter mile of this plant. a temporary flight restriction is now in place. so our news choppers had to leave the area and prevent us from bringing you live pictures. but these are fresh ones coming in to fox news. the fire captain says he's not sure what started this fire which began about three hours ago. he says it took firefighters some time to even get close to it because of how close those chemical storage tanks are to one another and the intense heat. more details on this as we get them. >>> we are now hearing from witnesses who were describing what happened when a train slamd into a parade float that was filled with u.s. military veterans. plus how some of those veterans raced to

different than the average person. so let's deal with the top three. let's start with dallas. dallas we know is a growing city. what makes it attractive for the military? >> all three of these top cities are not really military cities, per se. so that's what surprised us. dallas particularly, it's a tech send trick city, very clean, low crime rate, high population, but the thing that works there is it's also got high employee employ ability. so there's a is a great choice. >> brian: phoenix, a lot of people are buying homes. something that seems to be affordable and that is also a growing city. >> yes. it's very affordable. both mortgages are cheaper and rent is lower than national average. also a lot of educational opportunities. as i said in the outset, we looked at education heavily in this survey. >> brian: they also have a lot of contracting jobs and a lot of the men and women seem to like that and high number of government jobs. the last one and this is surprise to go a degree, pittsburgh. pittsburgh we know is starting to become a booming city as they get away from steel a little bit.
